How to Crochet Wiglett

How to Crochet Wiglett

After playing the new Pokemon game, I decided I really needed to crochet Wiglett, so here's my pattern and a YouTube tutorial to follow along!

Here is the written pattern:

Wiglett is made by crocheting the nose, body and soil, then sewing those parts together. Then Wiglett is glued into a pot along with some rocks.

Materials:
2 inch terracotta pot
Cardboard (cut into a small circle to cover the hole at the bottom of the pot)
Rocks/glass rocks
Scissors
Yarn needle
4mm crochet hook
Yarn in off-white, pink, and grey
Stuffing
6mm safety eyes

Nose:
R1: 8sc in MR (8)
R2: (3sc, inc)x2 (10)
R3: 1 sc in each st (10)
Fasten off, leaving a tail for sewing.

Body:
R1: 6sc in MR (6)
R2: 6 inc (12)
R3: (1sc, inc)x6 (18)
R4: (2sc, inc)x6 (24)
R5-8: 1sc in each st (24)
R9-17: 12hdc, 12 slst (24)
*Adjust where the stitches are to keep the hdc in the back
R18: 1sc in each st (24)
Pause here to attach eyes and nose. Stuff the head.
R19: (2sc, dec)x6 (18)
R20-30: 1 sc in each st (18)
You can make your Wiglett as short or as long as you'd like. Make sure your final sc is in the back. Fasten off, leaving a tail for sewing.

Soil:
R1: 6sc in MR (6)
R2: 6 inc (12)
R3: (1sc, inc)x6 (18)
R4: (2sc, inc)x6 (24)
R5: (3sc, inc)x6 (30)
R6: (4sc, inc)x6 (36)
R7-8: 1sc in each st (36)
Pause here to sew Wiglett to soil.
R9: (4sc, dec)x6 (30)
R10: (3sc, dec)x6 (24)
R11: (2sc, dec)x6 (18)
R12: (1sc, dec)x6 (12)
Pause here to stuff soil.
R13: 6 dec (6)
Fasten off.

Assembly:
Glue the cardboard circle to the bottom of the pot to cover the hole.
Glue rocks to the pot, filing up the bottom half.
Glue Wiglett on top of the rocks.
