Inspired by another commission, I've decided to share my Pikachu tutorial and create a YouTube tutorial for it!
Here is the written pattern:
Pikachu is made by crocheting each part individually and then sewing them all together.
Materials:
4 mm crochet hook
Size 4 worsted weight yarn in yellow, red, and black
Polyester fiberfill stuffing
7mm safety eyes
Black embroidery thread
Scissors
Yarn needle
Head:
In yellow,
R1: 6 sc in MR (6)
R2: 6 inc (12)
R3: (1 sc, inc) x6 (18)
R4: (2 sc, inc) x6 (24)
R5: (3 sc, inc) x6 (30)
R6: (4 sc, inc) x6 (36)
R7-12: 1 sc in each st (36)
Pause here to attach the safety eyes between R9 and R10, leaving 5 st in between. If you would like to attach a safety nose, attach it between R10 and 11 in the center of the eyes.

R15: (2 sc, dec) x6 (18)

Pause here to stuff.

Fasten off, leaving a tail for sewing. Use a separate strand of yellow yarn to close the hole made in R4.
Sewing it all together:
Stuff body and sew to head.
Sew arms and feet to body.
Sew ears to head.
Sew cheeks to head.
Sew tail to body.
Optional: embroider mouth.
