After I finished Mega-Dino, I knew it was time for ANOTHER Mega crochet pattern, and I'm pleased to share the free crochet-along YouTube tutorial for Mega-Pudgy Penguin with you!

Using size 7 jumbo chenille such as Sweet SnugglesChenille Home, and Parfait XL, Mega-Pudgy Penguin requires 1400g for the body color, 330g in white, and 80g in yellow!
Sweet Snuggles and Chenille Home come in balls of 250g, so you'll need 6 skeins for the body color, which gives you a comfortable amount leftover (250g x 6 skeins = 1500g). However, Parfait XL comes in balls of 200g, so you'll need almost exactly 7 skeins to get 1400g (200g x 7 skeins = 1400g), but I highly recommend picking up an extra ball of yarn for the body just in case!

It also took about 6 pounds of Polyfil Stuffing (Amazon Affiliate Link), and 40mm eyes (Amazon Affiliate Link). Additionally, I used size 4 worsted weight yarn in a similar color to sew. I recommend sewing with regular yarn instead of with your jumbo chenille because it is more durable and cost-effective.
